America’s 25th largest corporation, Wells Fargo on Thursday announced that it has employed three new leaders, Beth Zorc, Eric Hoplin, and Shannon Aimone, as part of the growth of its recently-formed government Relations and Public Policy (GRPP) group under the leadership of David Moskowitz, GRPP Head.

These individuals will be at the company’s Washington office and are to lead public policy, external relations, and political programmes. The three leaders will be dedicated to increasing transparency, communication, and operate across the company. Wells Fargo’s GRPP team includes six areas of practice: federal government relations, state and local government relations, regulatory relations, political programs, external relations, and public policy.

Wells Fargo, a diversified, community-based financial services company with multiple offices in over 40 countries and $1.9 trillion in assets, is presently carrying a number of organisational changes to its state and local government relations team to reflect the overall goals of the GRPP organization.

The GRPP team is to report to Moskowitz, who has in the last half a decade led the Well Fargo’s regulatory relations in Washington and the team is supported by a robust compliance and operations organization. Beth Zorc has been named Wells Fargo’s head of public policy and urban development. Eric Hoplin has been named head of external relations. A seasoned executive who has worked at the highest levels of government and business, Hoplin recently served as the executive director at the financial services roundtable, turning it into one of the nation’s leading financial services trade associations. Shannon Aimone joins Wells Fargo as head of political programs.

David Moskowitz, the previous leader of the consumer lending & corporate regulatory division of the Wells Fargo aw department, also said that the company was delighted that three of Washington’s brightest financial services leaders have decided to join the ongoing efforts to change Wells Fargo’s approach to government relations, public policy, and external relations. “Beth, Eric, and Shannon will play critical roles in our enterprise-wide commitment to more fully engage with policy makers and leaders on issues that are important to our customers, the financial services industry, and the American economy,” he added.
