The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) is set to change the lives of 1,200 African entrepreneurs across 54 countries, with the announcement of the 10th cohort of its life-changing TEF Entrepreneurship Programme on March 22, 2024.
The 10th cohort of the Programme, an initiative of the leading African philanthropy empowering African entrepreneurs, is a continuation of TEF’s commitment to transforming the African continent by supporting the most promising entrepreneurial talent and helping them to succeed.
Over the last decade, the Tony Elumelu Foundation has been working tirelessly to empower young African entrepreneurs and give them the tools they need to succeed. Through its flagship entrepreneurship programme, the Foundation has provided thousands of African entrepreneurs with world-class training, mentorship, and funding, as well as access to a powerful network of like-minded individuals. The beneficiaries have received world-class business training, mentorship, coaching, and funding, in addition to lifelong access to the prestigious TEF Alumni Network.
With over 400,000 jobs created and $100 million directly invested in African entrepreneurs, the Tony Elumelu Foundation has had a tremendous impact on the continent. Beyond providing funding and training, the Foundation has also created a digital platform, TEFConnect, which has provided capacity building and advisory services to more than 1.5 million Africans.
