Airtel Nigeria has joined forces with Mobihealth International, a leading telehealth provider, to expand access to quality healthcare for millions of Nigerians, particularly those in underserved and remote areas.
The partnership, sealed at Airtel Nigeria’s Lagos headquarters, represents a crucial step in leveraging digital innovation to address healthcare challenges across the country. This initiative aims to deliver affordable, 24/7 telemedicine services, allowing users to consult with licensed healthcare professionals through mobile devices.
Mobihealth’s comprehensive platform offers round-the-clock teleconsultations, prescription services, medication delivery, and access to international medical specialists, ensuring that users receive timely and effective care.

As part of the partnership, Airtel’s robust network infrastructure will enable Mobihealth to extend its reach, making healthcare accessible to vulnerable populations in rural regions.The partnership is expected to reshape healthcare delivery in Nigeria, ensuring that even the most underserved communities benefit from advancements in digital health solutions.
Speaking about the collaboration, Femi Oshinlaja, Airtel Nigeria’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the transformative potential of telemedicine in Nigeria’s healthcare sector. “This partnership underscores our commitment to innovative solutions that improve the lives of Nigerians,” he said.
Funmi Adewara, founder and CEO of Mobihealth, hailed the agreement as a groundbreaking move toward equitable healthcare delivery in Africa.
“Together, we are breaking barriers to affordable, timely, and high-quality medical care. Our telehealth platform will bridge the gap, providing millions with convenient access to doctors, diagnostics, and treatments,” she stated.
