Nnolim Nnaji, chairman, House of Representatives committee on aviation, said the new Nigeria-China direct flight introduced by Air Peace will provide great relief to Nigerian air travellers to the global manufacturing hub where thousands of Nigerians go for business and trading activities.
Nnaji applauded the management of the leading Nigerian airline for the feat it has just pulled off in its global flight expansion programme, and his commendation came on the heels of the airline’s inaugural flight to Guangzhou, one of the commercial cities of the Asian country.
He noted that the commencement of direct flight to China by Air Peace would not only bring a huge relief to Nigerians, but also, the citizens of other African countries who travel regularly on business trips to China.

Nnaji stressed that Nigeria and indeed Africa shared huge business and cultural ties with China, adding that the direct air link would further strengthen such relationships.
He further praised Air Peace for mustering the courage to begin the long haul flight at the time airlines globally were just struggling to overcome the enormous negative impact of COVID-19 on the aviation sector.
Nnaji represents Njanu East/West Federal Constituency of Enugu State in the House of Representatives and he assured that the legislature would continue to work with the executive to ensure a robust aviation industry in the country.
