Moniepoint launches DreamDevs to train Africa’s tech talent

Moniepoint Inc, a leading digital financial services provider in Africa, has introduced the DreamDevs initiative, a new programme aimed at equipping young tech enthusiasts with essential skills to address the continent’s tech talent gap.
The initiative, which is now open for applications, targets recent graduates with backgrounds in technology, computer science, engineering, and related fields. Candidates are expected to have foundational programming knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
According to Moniepoint, DreamDevs will run as an intensive nine-week boot camp, offering participants hands-on training and exposure to advanced industry tools. Moniepoint has a track record of investing in tech talent, including its HatchDev programme, which is run in partnership with NITHub Unilag. HatchDev trains 300 junior software engineers, 100 intelligent systems developers, and 100 IoT/embedded systems engineers annually.
