VistaJet, the world’s first and only global business aviation company, has set its eyes on corporations, governments and ultra-high-networth-individuals in an expansion drive that is taking it into the East and Southern African exclusive private aviation services space.
In a statement made available to Business a.m., VistaJet said it is building on its successful West Africa roadshow earlier in the year, and has been showcasing its exclusive private aviation services in key cities, including Nairobi, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.

Accordingly, it says the region will now have access to VistaJet’s unparalleled fleet of aircraft and its renowned flight-hour subscription model, making private aviation more accessible to the continent’s decision-makers, businesses, and governments.
The private aviation services provider noted that as Africa continues to see economic growth and rising wealth, demand for efficient, secure, and flexible travel solutions has increased, adding that the aviation industry in Africa supports $55.8 billion in economic activity.
“With its expansion into East and Southern Africa, VistaJet is poised to cater to a new wave of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and corporations looking to capitalise on the continent’s booming business opportunities,” the company stated.
Africa’s wealth is on a significant upward trajectory, it observed, adding that the number of millionaires is expected to grow by 65 percent in the next decade.
“Business leaders and governments in East and Southern Africa increasingly require bespoke solutions to move between cities and countries efficiently. The demand for private aviation is also spurred by the continent’s ongoing infrastructure challenges, where commercial flight options are often limited or unreliable. Private aviation is expected to play a critical role in Africa’s future, as the global market is forecasted to support 143 million jobs by 2038, and the continent’s growing economies continue to attract significant foreign investments.
With private aviation contributing billions to the global economy, VistaJet’s entry into East and Southern Africa is timely, offering a unique solution to meet the rising demand for efficient, secure, and luxurious travel.
Philippe Scalabrini, president of Europe and Africa at VistaJet emphasised the importance of this expansion, “We recognise the pivotal role that private aviation plays in empowering corporations and governments across Africa. As the region experiences unparalleled economic growth, VistaJet is committed to offering the best-in-class solutions for businesses and high-net-worth individuals who value efficiency, safety, and reliability in their travel. By launching in East and Southern Africa, we aim to support our clients in navigating the opportunities and challenges of this dynamic market.”
The company stated that VistaJet’s East and Southern Africa operations will leverage its dedicated aircraft, offering clients seamless travel experiences, adding that from Nairobi to Johannesburg, and from Cape Town to London, VistaJet guarantees direct, uninterrupted flights, minimising delays and maximising efficiency for businesses and individuals who need to be in multiple cities in the shortest possible time.
VistaJet’s tailored membership programmes, including its signature Programme and Direct services, allow clients to access its entire fleet on-demand, providing a high level of control, convenience, and luxury.
The expansion is part of VistaJet’s broader strategy to offer its unmatched services across the globe, ensuring it remains the first choice for UHNWIs, corporate leaders, and governments.
