Flutterwave, Audiomack eye access, revenue opportunities in alliance

Flutterwave, a top provider of payments technology in Africa, and Audiomack, a platform for endless music streaming and discovery, are eyeing access and revenue opportunities in a new strategic alliance both firms recently signed up to.
Business A.M. understanding of the alliance is that it would enable Audiomack to charge its users and artists for access to additional features and premium music experiences.
The music streaming firm has a significant presence in virtually all 54 of the African nations which has allowed it to emerge as the go-to website for musicians, labels, tastemakers, and music lovers looking to discover and exchange music from various African cultures.

The African music scene has been supported by Audiomack since its founding in 2012, and the company opened an office in Lagos in addition to extending its reach in 2021 to important African markets like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and South Africa.
The alliance with Flutterwave will give Audiomack’s users the ability to make payments easily and securely as the firm moves into its next phase of growth in Africa.
It is expected that the alliance will also enable Audiomack to provide new payment options for African consumers, such as bank transfers, local cards, and mobile money, opening the platform to a wider audience across the continent.
African musicians, following the alliance, will also have access to better monetization options, according to a statement by both parties.
Flutterwave’s experience in safe and dependable payment processing will help Audiomack give African musicians greater chances to make money from their work. Tis includes providing fans who wish to directly support their favourite musicians with simple payment choices.
